Since we launched our website in 2009, our blog has been more informative in nature. We chose articles that would be relevant in order to keep you informed about the situation in Congo. Now, we want to take this in a different direction; we want to invite you in the heart of what we do. The blog will still give you useful articles but we are also going to bring you closer to those who devote their lives to the work of Mwangaza all around the world.
To start this new season on our blog, I want to invite you to discover some of the people who make a difference through Mwangaza. They are the difference we want to make. Mwangaza means “light” in Swahili; I would like to introduce you to a few of those who have decided to become a shining light in the DR Congo. Through little things, they have impacted the lives of many with their great love for those who are less fortunate. In the next months, I will be posting interviews that I have done with some of these shining lights around the world. We will call this “The Shining Light Series.”
