In the past, we have done small distributions at Christmastime in Congo. This year, we hope to greatly increase the amount of gifts we can give. Here is what donations to the Christmas fund will go to:

- Packages to orphans and women victims of war. These packages contain soap, candy, toothbrushes, basic hygienic supplies, flip flops, clothes, sugar, milk, and rice.
- Freeing people from hospitals. In the DRC, when someone cannot pay a hospital bill, they are held hostage in the hospital until someone provides the money. Every year we are able to reunite a few people to their families for Christmas. This year we hope to free many more.
- Some meals and transportation costs for our volunteers. Mwangaza has a great group of volunteers on the ground in Congo. They give up their time and work very hard to distribute these packages and to travel to each orphanage and women's home in our network. Again, we thank you, volunteers. We appreciate your work so very much.
