We are throwing a launch party at Momentum 8 Studio in Joplin on Friday, Sept. 4th at 8pm. Come celebrate with us and have a good time!

It's a classy affair - jackets, ties, and evening gowns (or something close) are encouraged. The night will include live music, hors d'oeuvres, and an art auction with all proceeds going to Mwangaza. Joplin doesn't have a lot of formal, urban-feeling events, so we hope this is a good change of pace and super fun.

Putting the organization together has been a long process, and we are excited to see it finally taking shape. We would love to see all of our friends and family there to learn more about the work that needs to be done in Congo. Plus, when else do you get to see Trésor Yenyi in a suit and tie?
